Quick question for you married folks and anyone else with an opinion on the matter. Did you buy your parents and in-laws a gift for your wedding? If so, what did you get them? I need some ideas!

since i've never been married, but apparently know all about weddings, yes, you are supposed to get both sets of parents a gift. it is a good idea for them to be similar, so that there is no comparison going on...but they don't have to be exactly the same thing. Something framed from LifeWay about family, or a cross, or something along those lines are what my sisters did. We'll talk later! Lvoe you friend!

I am pretty sure we didn't give our parents gifts. If we did i certainly can't remember what it was. Anyway, I have heard of giving both your mom and his mom a handkerchief to hold at the wedding with both your wedding date and your parents wedding date on it. I think its a cute idea!

Dave and I bought both sets of parents an 8 X 10 wedding picture of their choosing, so they got their gifts after the wedding, but they liked it.
