the one where I've been to a lot of Starbuckses

I have a new theory. My life can be measured out in Starbucks visits. Lately, Brian and I have been going to Starbucks in the morning before he goes in to work at 3. Ususally, more visits equal a happier Elaine. Let's see if I can remember what all I've done since my last post:

Friday: me and BJ had coffee at the La Madeleine in downtown. It's really fun because you can watch all the people who are busy being busy. Then we ate at the Highland Park Pharmacy. Its cool because you sit at the counter, they toast your sandwich and make you a milkshake while you watch. Very fun.

Saturday: we checked out the Starbucks by SMU (we like to try new ones so that we can go to ones with good atmosphere)then ate dinner at BJ's Pizza with both sets of parents and my sister. Then we went down to Lower Greenville with some friends for $1 wells (I don't really know what that means). It was good to hang out and be young.

Sunday: Jules came back in town and we had a little PF Changs (yum yum)

Monday: we went to the Starbucks in Highland Park (it gets an A+ in atmosphere) and then went over to Northpark mall. I spent the rest of the day shopping with Julie and Julia for scrapbook stuff and wedding stuff. We also ate at McAllisters...sweet tea....yummmmmmmmmm

Tuesday: BJ and I drove over to Fort Worth and went to the art museum. They had some nice stuff...a cool Monet with a weeping willow (he's my favorite). We went over to the Barnes and Noble in downtown Fort Worth to read and drink coffee. We ate dinner at Texas Roadhouse and oh my goodness. It was so good. I love their chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes and salad. Mmmmmm. We watched some of Gone with the Wind, too. I love Mammie in the movie. She's great.

Yesterday: We took Latte with us to the HP Starbucks. It was so nice and cool outside because of the rain. Latte made lots of friends (even though Elaine was being moody). We ate dinner at Mac Grill then went to see the Island with Scott and Heather.

Today: Went to the Starbucks in Mockingbird Station then ate lunch at Chips with BJ, Mer Mer and her friend Will. Good Latte, great burger. Then I went to get a new social security job because I'm an idiot and lost my original one. It was a bit of an ordeal, mainly because there was a SCREAMING kid whose parents didn't try to stop her. GRrrrrr.

Tomorrow: Get new tires, hang out with BJ at Starbucks, head to Austin for Julie's bachelorette, then float the Guadalupe River, then to Waco for a wedding...

Cheers: to coffee
Jeers: to trying to pack without my bff here to tell me what I really need to take
