Well, I know I haven't posted in a long time but I don't feel like I have anything to say. Life is just rolling along. I do lots and lots and lots of reading. Seriously. I always thought law students were just big whiners, and maybe we are a little bit, but there is a LOT of reading. Plus they just assigned us a huge research project which is going to force me to spend mucho time in the most dreaded of all places....the library.
Lately I've developed a huge craving for cheese. I eat it all the time. I've also gotten addicted to shopping for things I want to register for. By the way, there aren't any good plates out there. They're either too flowery, too plain, too white, too wierd or have roosters on them. And I can't decide what colors I want in my bedroom. Blues? Greens? Browns? And what style of furniture? You can see how this keeps me busy for hours. It also keeps me awake in class.
Last weekend I went to Charleston, SC, with my parents. On Friday we got to stay in one of their friend's "summer homes" on one of the islands. It was SO cool. Maybe with my second million I'll get one of my own (the first million is going to a ski lodge in colorado). Saturday and Sunday we did touristy things like tour Fort Sumter and visit a plantation. We did a bit of shopping at an open air market, took a carriage ride and ate good "low country" food like fried green tomatoes and gritz. I was supposed to fly home at 4 on Monday from Savannah but my flight was delayed. We finally took off at 6 but had to land again because something was making a bad noice. Then they cancelled my flight. I finally left Savannah at 9 and my connecting flight in Atlanta was delayed too. I didn't get home till after 2am!! So my whole week has been spent trying to catch up on sleep and on my reading.
Thats all I can think of to tell you at the moment. I'll try not to keep you in suspense for so long again.
Jeers: to slowly killing my indoor plant
Cheers: to sleeping-in manana
