the one with a crazy old man

As you know, I like to study at Starbucks. Twice in the last week, I've run into this crazy old man - he's probably about 70. The first time I was with Kristina and he came over to talk to us about what we were studying. We told him we were in law school and he said "why don't you just go be teachers? leave the law for the men. don't worry your pretty heads about the law." Normally I'm not a big feminist or anything, but give me a break! Women can be great lawyers or great teachers or great anything in between. And he has no place to tell me I'm not capable of being a lawyer! I guess he's just proof of how differently our generations look at the world. The second time I saw him, I was with two different girls and he came over and gave us the same speech about how women should just be teachers and stay out of the man's world. One of the girls I was with is in the air force (but she's not your typical air force girl) and she just went off on him about how she's done just fine in the man's world. Kinda funny.

That old man would not have survived in law school.
