the one with stuff

Brian just told me to update. Isn't it wierd how someone who didn't even want to start a blog is now telling me to update? Strange. It seems like lists are the thing to do lately and it works better for me since my brain is scattered.

- I had a fun weekend in DC. I rode the metro again and remembered how thrilling it is just to be in a big city! There's just more life there than in Williamsburg. I have to live in a big city.

- Latte decided to use an ant trap (with poison inside!) as a chew toy and we had to call Poison Control. She's fine ( :

- Gilmore Girls was fabulous tonight! I actually cried when Rory and Lorelei made up.

- I'm making more friends. I studied this morning with three girls from my classes, although we spent more time chatting than studying. I talked to another girl who suggested that we get together after Thanksgiving to study since we have all our classes together. I'm starting to feel like I know people and like I have options for who to chat with between classes.

- I shopped in DC and Tyson's Corner (biggest mall or something like that) and bought WAY too much stuff.

- Starbucks has Christmas drinks and Christmas cups!

- I'm pretending that Harry Potter doesn't start until Tuesday. So you lucky ducks that get to see it before me, keep your mouths shut and don't spoil it!!

- Northern Virginia has an Uncle Julio's!! It felt like home.

- I put up Christmas decorations so that studying won't seem so dull

- It has been colder in Texas than in Virginia for the last 3 weeks. What's that about?

- I watched Barefoot in the Park for the first time this weekend and loved it! Go rent it, it's fab.

- Exams are only 20 days away! How am I supposed to bring study material home over Thanksgiving when each book weighs more than my dog??

Jeers: to the physical effects of too much studying: headaches, backaches and tired eyes!
Cheers: to my InStyle Magazine coming in the mail! It's the first one from my subscription and I'm so excited!!

PS - I'm switching Jeers and Cheers so that I end on a good note

The best part of studying in groups is talking about other stuff and not studying! :) That's how you make friends, too! Good job!!
