And the fun continues...
Monday: Shopping Day!! Brian picked me up and took me to lunch at Tin Star (fabulous queso and great taco). Then it was time to shop!! We headed to Stonebriar and went to all my favorite stores. Have I told you before that Williamsburg has NO shopping?? We have a good outlet mall but I have to drive 30 minutes for a Gap or Express!! Sometimes you just want to see the new stuff, ya know? So it was really nice to spend several hours at the mall just looking. I bought a cute cordoroy skirt, a few shirts and a pair of jeans (all on sale too). We took a shopping break to grab some Starbucks and then hit the Galleria. I know they have mostly the same stores but it's still different. Trust me. For dinner, we met my family at Pei Wei (yummy chicken fried rice) and then went to see my brother's new condo. [For those who don't know, he's been living at home since he graduated in may 04 and just moved out last weekend] After that, BJ and I went to Leslie's to hang out till it stopped raining. When it finally quit, the four of us went to play tennis. We had all gotten pretty terrible but had a lot of fun anyway, especially trying to avoid the nasty crickets. We made milkshakes and hung out afterward. Then Brian took me home....
Tuesday: Time just slipped away today. Brian came over pretty early to go get Chick Fil A breakfast. Then I convinced him to take me back to the mall to buy the shoes I couldn't decide about on Monday. They are way cute wedges. Perhaps I'll post a picture for your viewing pleasure. Anyway, my sister came home during her lunch break and my mom picked up Whataburgers for us (yummmmmmy choc. shake and fries). Brian and I went to hang out at Starbucks until he had to leave for work. I hate saying goodbye to him. I tried REALLY hard to be strong and not cry, but couldn't help it. I'm so glad it's only two weeks apart this time instead of eight! After he left, I spent a little time with my friend Jacqueline and then my brother took me to the airport. Everything went smoothly and I didn't have to sit by anyone on the plane. We even landed early. I didn't get home until about 1 am, but it was worth it!!
I had such a great weekend. I'm proud of you for reading this far. I know I probably wrote WAY more than you wanted to know, but oh well. Now it's back to the school thing. I'm charged back up and ready to kick some law school butt. It's wierd though, I feel like this weekend I got a taste of what a full life is like, and now I'm back to my half life of studying, school and loneliness. It just makes me wonder if this is completely right for me. Sorry for the midnight-PMS-sappy stuff ( :
Cheers: to a canceled class tomorrow!
Jeers: to bad milk and no toilet paper

I am a little jealous of your weekend at home in Plano! I know I'm in New York, and that's fine, but I started getting a little Plano homesick for all those yummy restaurants (that are decently priced), and the idea of hanging out with friends and family.... I'm glad you had so much fun! Thanks for going into detail about your eventful weekend - I've been anxiously awaiting this blog about your weekend at home!! I'm glad you only have to wait two weeks to see Brian!!!
I am so glad you had such a good time. Just think you get to relive it all in just 2 weeks. Hang in there and it'll go by fast! Besides, you have to stay there and become a lawyer...what if I do something illegal and need help...we all know its possible!
Lainey, I'm super excited for your fun weekend, and no, you didn't write too much!! For some reason it did make me miss you more though. I think God new I HAD to go to homecoming and see you, and that's why my class didn't make. Anywho...I miss you and can't wait to see you on October 28th!! We need to talk more seriously about details of that weekend!! Yay!!
