So, in honor of going to law school, I got a new computer and printer since mine were crap and I always had to use my roommates (but I won't have a roommate so I needed my own). I got an Apple laptop and a really cool printer/scanner/copier and with all the rebates and student discounts, I got a free ipod mini. Cool, right? So I've been putting music on my ipod and learning how to use a mac. Very fun.
The last few days I have been trying to get a few things done for the move, but haven't really accomplished much. I'm in denial about going and I'm a procrastinator, which means I won't end up packing till the day before I leave. Yesterday, a girl called me that goes to school at W&M. She's a grad student too and her aunt and uncle are friends with my parents. She seemed cool and we might go get coffee when I get up there. So I have a sort-of friend and that makes me happy.
I'm sad because today is my last day to see Sara Banks for a long time. She's moving to Houston for law school on Friday and I don't know when I'll see her again. Wierd. But I'm determined not to make my last few days sad. There isn't any point in wasting good time crying. Anyway, Brian has the next three days off (yay!) and then my best friend Julie is getting married on Friday. That's really crazy too. She seems to have everything under control and taken care of. I hope that I can be so calm before my wedding.
I'm off to "get stuff done" and enjoy my last days of summer!!
