Yep. That's what kind of day this has been. I woke up early (because the sun glares into my room at 6:30 am) and decided to be productive. I went to pick up my new, cool tv stand. Unfortunately, it's heavy and not assembled and so it's still in my car. It might just stay there until Meredith comes to visit me in 2 weeks and she can help me carry it inside ( : Then I went to best buy to get a router. Unfortunately, when I got home I realized it is uncompatible with my mac. Cool. I also went to Bed Bath and Beyond to look for some blackout curtains (see above) but they would cost me $120. Cool. I came home, set some stuff up, got frustrated with the router, tried to call the mattress people (who still owed me a bed). Brian called me before he and his friends went to float the river in New Braunfels. He sounded so excited and I wish I could have gone with him. When I hung up, I started crying. I just couldn't stop. I wanted to be in Texas so badly.
So then I finally decide to pull myself together and go get some coffee and go talk to the mattress people in person (since they still weren't answering their phones). When I opened the door, I found a notice from my apt telling me that they were suing me! They claim that I haven't paid some money and now I owe them that plus attorney fees!! I just started bawling when I read it. I called my mom and she couldn't even understand what I was saying. It's so scary to get a letter like that when you are living on your own. Anyway, my parents figured out that they had paid for whatever over the phone with the credit card and the apt girl just never ran it through! Idiots. So they are going to work the whole thing out tomorrow. But I was still very very upset. It took me a long time to stop crying completely.
At least when I got to the mattress place they had my bed and the guy followed me back and set it up for me ( : Since then, I've been setting up my bed, eating dinner, eating icecream and watching tv.
I miss Texas.

Awwww Elaine! What an awful day!! I'm glad things are going to work out about being sued but I'm sorry your day didn't go as you had intended!! I hope that was the end of the bad stuff happening and that you have a wonderful Sunday and a great first week of school!!
