Well, the weekend was good. We didn't go to Schlitterbahn, but that's okay.
Friday: We went to dinner with some friends at BJ's Pizza. I had a cider drink that was pretty good and a pizzookie! If you haven't ever had one, it's the BEST dessert in the whole world. A gooey cookie with icecream on top. Heavenly. Then we went back to Lacey's apt to play Taboo and watch a movie. Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle was surprisingly funny. I wasn't expecting to like it, but I did.
Saturday: I helped Jacqueline paint the living room in her new house. I'm thinking about adding "skilled at painting with a roller" to my resume. Her walls are now a lovely shade of green and it will be neat to go visit later on and know that I painted those walls. After that, I met up with Brian to wash and WAX our cars. Yes, I waxed my car. I've never done that before and by the time we had washed, dried, waxed and done special wheel brightening things to both of our cars, I was bored. At least we got to get in the pool afterwards! I think I got a little bit of sun... at least I hope I did. We put Latte in the pool to see if she could swim and she can! The little rat swam right to me after Meredith dropped her in the water. The poor little puppy just doesn't look right when she's wet. Saturday night, BJ and I went to eat at Margarita Ranch. They have the best beef fajitas I have ever tasted. (I know that's a lot of "best" food this weekend but it's true. You taste that pizzookie and those fajitas and tell me I'm wrong.) It was very fun to go on an official date and get dressed up. I know I see him all the time, but it's nice to spend special date time together.
Sunday: I went to church and then ate with Brian's family twice for his dad's birthday. I was a little disappointed because I thought I was going to get to see one of my good friends who was in Fort Worth, but she didn't call. Hopefully I'll get to see her sometime soon. Anyway, I also went to Starbucks (the BEST toffee nut latte... no lie) and the mall. I'm reading a new book now called Hadassah. It's the story of Queen Esther, so that's pretty cool.
All in all, a good weekend. Wish you could have been there ( :
Cheers: to falling off my exercise ball when I try to use it ( :
Jeers: to my fingers peeling... is that wierd or what?
