The low-tire light on my car has been on for about a week. I have been living in constant fear of walking out to a flat tire. So finally on Sunday I convinced Brian to go with me to put air in my tires. Once we got to the gas station, we realized that neither of us has ever really learned how to check tires or use air machines or anything. Luckily I got an electronic little tire guage in my stocking last year (thanks Mom). After reading the car manual and getting grease on our hands, we got my tires pumped and the low-tire light turned off. We're now considering opening our own car repair shop: Flores Fix-It Shop.
The last week I've barely seen sunshine because I've been in the journal office in the basement. We are close to sending our first issue to the printer, which is a huge accomplishment. Over the last week, the editor-in-chief (Julie) and I have re-read every single one of the 450 pages to looking for mistakes (and catching a lot). Its been grueling. And we're starting our final review of Issue 2 as soon as this one goes to the printer. No rest for the weary.
I spent the weekend recovering - bubble bath, going to bed at 10, catching up on sleep, and reading for class. Sunday was really fun. We went to Richmond to finish registering at Dillards and do a little shopping and eat at Chipotle for lunch and PF Chang's for dinner! Right now I'm watching an episode of Ugly Betty and getting ready for another long week in the journal office. The light at the end of the tunnel is going home for Thanksgiving on Sunday!!
Cheers: Christmas blend coffee!
Jeers: dreams about failing exams...already!

I am simply amazed your car has a "low tire light" that is awsome! and I am impressed you guys fixed it, I would hope I could do the same in the situation!
I want to read those books, however I'm being cheap right now so I'm reading whatever people lend me!
Isn't it awesome that we get a break in a week!! I hope you're able to enjoy yours!!
I don't want people getting the wrong idea of Brian. I do know how to put air in tires and how to read tire gages -- the 7-11 gage was just crap! And there was no convincing that went on either! We did a good job though, and the idea of opening up our own shop was true at least!
