This is the bedding that I think I like. Only I would get it maybe in a light green on brown instead of the blue. I think its sophisticated. Brian likes it too. Let me just say that picking out bedding has been the hardest thing! The down side to this stuff is that its available only online from Restoration Hardware and its a little expensive. Part of me just wants to order it myself and then register for some matching sheets somewhere else. I am a little wary of ordering something to important online. Its just hard to decide what to do!
In other news (that's for you Kase), I'm going to Chicago for Fall Break with my family and Brian!! Four full days in the city. Shopping on Magnificent Mile. Watching a show (maybe Wicked!!). Letting my parents pay for nice meals. Should be fabulous!
Last weekend I hosted a "Western Night" for some friends. I made my grandmother's homemade brisket (so good), some cheesey squash casserole, rolls, salad, mashed potatos and homemade pecan pie! All good southern/western food. Then we went to see 3:10 to Yuma. I think the food was better than the movie, but it was still fun.
Not a whole lot else is going on. I'm still busy editing articles and I'm still way behind in school. Nothing new on the wedding front. Oh, except that Brian and I are each doing our pre-marital counseling test for our first meeting with our minister. We have to rate statements on whether we agree or disagree with them: If both partners are working, the husband should do the same amount of household chores as the wife. My partner has some personal habits that bother me. I am satisfied with how my partner and I talk with each other. Etc. Should be interesting. We aren't allowed to talk about the questions, which is hard.
Cheers: to new episodes of my favorite shows
Jeers: to a messy apt!
