Think about it. They are both cold, heartless b-words. And did you see the video where Hillary announced her candidacy for pres? She tried to act all homey and friendly (i.e. "Lets begin a conversation..."), just like Martha. Anyway, just a little political food for thought. Bet you didn't expect to get that on my blog.
This week has been better than last week, although it started with a MAJOR freak out moment. When I dropped my tax law class, I focused on finding a small class that seemed interesting and wouldn't be curved. But I forgot to check the exam schedule. Some of you might know that two of my best friends are getting married on May 5, which is the Saturday right in the middle of my exams. Brian and I are both in the wedding and I really want to be there. So on Monday night, a mere 10 hours before the end of the add/drop period, I realized that the class I added had an exam on May 5! I FLIPPED out. Luckily, I talked to the dean and everything is going to be fine and I can keep the class and move the exam. But it was still a pretty rough start to the week.
Last weekend, I got to go skiing in West Virginia with a group from school!! It was so much fun and reminded me of the college ski trips (and youth group trips) that I've been on. Skiing in WV is a little different than Colorado, but still really great. I just love the feeling of zooming down the mountain and wondering if you can stay in control or if this is the run where you're going to break your leg. We even got fresh snow on our last morning, which made everything so picturesque. The only downside was trying to drive down the mountain once that snow had turned to ice! But, I made it home in one piece with no injuries.
Other than that, nothing new. Just reading and trying to stay on top of everything this semester. In the next few weeks I'll be finishing the last 20 pages of my 50 page paper, prosecuting a criminal trial (a fake one, but for a grade), acting as a witness in another trial, helping out with the publicity committee for a big event at school, doing research for a prof, and trying to stay sane!!
Cheers: to Sara coming to the Burg in April!!
Jeers: to puppies who get sick in the night and throw up on your new sorority t-shirt quilt

Yep, actually the skin "experts" there said that we should be using anti-aging cream starting at 16!!! AHHHHH I totally don't believe that. I bought Dr. Brandt "Illusion Eye Cream"....
Haven't noticed a change yet, but maybe I'll notice when I'm 30!! I'm not ready to age yet!!
