the one where I had to rough it (or buy bottled water)

Today the main water line in Williamsburg ruptured and the city warned all residents not to drink their water for for the next 72 hours for fear of "cross contamination." I would prefer not to use my imagination on what exactly that means. Anyway, I have to boil my water if I want to drink it. That sounds like something the Boxcar Children would have to do. And as soon as I heard I couldn't drink water, I got SO thirsty. I managed to quench my thirst with milk for a while, but I gave in a few minutes ago and went to 7-Eleven. I looked like I was preparing to go into a bomb shelter with all the water I bought.

Latte became an official Virginia resident today. She got her dog license so that she can become a member at our local dog park. All her little friends at the apartment are members and she wouldn't stop whimpering about wanting to join. So I worked my way through all the government red tape so that she can be a "cool" doggie.

I also confirmed today that I'm a super dork. I got a certificate for "citechecking excellence" from my journal for doing an outstanding job on my first citecheck (citecheck = 30 hours of tedious work). And now my certificate is on my fridge.

Cheers: to re-starting my workout plan with the lovely Sara B
Jeers: to my stupid razor phone and its new habit of randomly turning itself off

ps - if anyone wants to let me sleep on their floor during Baylor Homecoming, I would appreciate it

Um, I thought you were a dork just with the whole getting your dog to be a VA resident thing, but then you mentioned the citation thing!! hahaha, actually I think the citation thing is FAH-bulous! and i would have it on my fridge too!!!

And I'd offer for you to stay at my sisters, but you really don't want to, I promise...it's craziness over there, and her bathroom's pretty gross!

Have you been to GAP lately? I just saw a commercial and their new pants are entitled "skinny black pants," but I'm pretty sure they're leggings! :)

yes, the game is monkey ball, there is super monkey ball, super monkey ball 2, and there is a new one that i am not 100% sure of the name or exactly what it is cause i haven't played it. I LOVE super monkey ball 2. There is a story mode where you have to go through 100 obsitcal courses and then there are mini games like golf and stuff. It is super fun and can be played with 1-4 players.

Nooo, you are NEVER too old to get a tattoo! My second one was the heart with the texas flag in it on my other foot (same place as the fish). It does hurt a little but nothing that a little hand holding won't get you thru! You should totally do it!! I will let you know about my floor for homecoming...it depends on if we are here or on a storm!
