I'm thinking about getting a new car. Nothing is really wrong with mine, except for a big ol' crack in the windshield, but I'm bored with it. I've had it 7 years and it might be fun to drive something fun and sporty...like a Jetta! I really want a mini-cooper but my dad is convinced that it is a death trap. I found a Jetta that is a 2004, with 28 thousand miles, silver, leather interior, decent price. My car should trade in for a decent amount and I can get pretty low payments. Should I consider a trade in? Will I hate driving a car after years of SUV? It would be nice to have better gas mileage and a newer car. Anyway, I need some feedback from my blogger buddies. What would you do??
Ever since my Fourth of July grocery trip, I've developed a new love for the "icecream novelty" aisle at the store. I am OBSESSED with drumsticks and cookies-n-cream icecream sandwiches. And just yesterday I ate 1/4 of Brian's Moollenium Crunch icecream straight out of the carton. This is wierd for me because I've never been an icecream girl. I've always liked it, but never craved it. I'm sure it will do wonders for fitting into my already too-tight pants and skirts.
I owe you a post about my oh-so-fabulous trip to Houston last weekend, but Brian has hi-jacked my laptop so I can only post from work and I really want you guys to see the pictures. So you'll just have to wait.
Cheers: to getting onto a law journal at my school!! A week of non-stop writing and editing paid off!!
Jeers: to realizing I spelled "where" as "were" in my post before last.

I love my SUV for all its room...but I gotta tell ya, everytime I pull up to the gas pump I long for my traded in Honda Accord and its beautiful gas mileage. I say going from an SUV to a cooper is a huge change, but Jetta's are nice. Not too small...you'll probably get your SUV back one day when you get to mommyhood. So...my vote...be sporty while you can :) Ps...what kind of SUV do you have now??
only you and julie would put a jeers for a spelling mistake. That made my whole day. Hehe! New cars are great. As long as the payments aren't a damper I would say go for it. I just switched to a car and as long as you don't get a tiny tiny one I am sure it will be fine. Have a great day!
get the jetta! it's cute!
CONGRATULATIONS on getting on the law review!!! That is wonderful!!! As I'm sitting here watching the news discuss how gas might get to $4, I think you should definitely treat yourself to a new car!! Have you test driven it yet?!
