Today I put my sweaters back in the box and took out my summer things. It always makes me sad to put them away mainly because I don't really get to say goodbye. You never realize that the last time you wear a sweater is the last time until its too late. If I knew it was the last time, I would make sure to take the sweater somewhere special, you know? But in the midst of the sweater sadness, there is the surprise of finding things in my summer box that I forgot about...like the white pants that I love or the cute green halter top. I spent an hour trying things on and figuring out what I still like (and what still fits). I can't wait for summer and all the fun secrets it holds. It's going to be the best one yet, I just know it. I've decided that my motto from my senior year applies to my summer: no regrets. No making excuses or passing opportunities to have fun. I feel like I spent a year of law school just treading water and this summer I'm going to dive back in again. Get ready, Texas, I'm coming home!!
Cheers: to taking two (freaking hard) exams
Jeers: to studying for the last two
