the one with spring break (part 2)

I'm officially back in law school land after a fun spring break.  Cancun was great...we swam with dolphins, rode horses on the beach, saw a Mayan pyramid, and got lots of sun while sipping pina coladas.  All in all very relaxing.  Once I got back, I got my fill of good Dallas restaurants: Pei Wei, Buca di Bepo, Margarita Ranch, Tin Star, Great Outdoors.  Yummy.

I also had two job interviews.  One was pretty stinky.  They asked very typical interview questions and we didn't really click.  Plus they have a HUGE office which might be a bit overwhelming for a baby lawyer like me.  Anyway, the second interview was FAB.  I clicked with my interviewer and they offered me a job on the spot!  I'll be working 6 weeks of my summer at a small office thats part of a big firm specializing in labor and employment!!  And they're paying me!!  And its a super convenient location!!  I'm way excited.  My summer is shaping up well: a week in Hilton Head at the beach, 6 weeks of work, 4 weeks of lounging by Brian's pool, and 2 weeks in Berlin!!  YAY!

Anyway, the rest of my break was pretty fun.  I went to a St. Patricks parade on Saturday morning in Dallas.  It was really fun!  I collected many green beads and had my first experience with beer before noon.  I have to say that I dont' really like beer (before or after noon) but if you're gonna drink it, why not at a parade?  I'll post some pics from the week soon!

I'm back at school now and I can already feel things accelarating toward exams that are only 5 weeks away!  Unbelievable.  Time to get busy!!

Jeers: a busy busy week
