the one with two packages!

I just love getting a little note in my mailbox that says I have a package waiting for me in the apartment office. I love the anticipation of who sent me something and what they sent. I love desperately trying to get the packing tape open with my keys. And I love fishing through packing peanuts for my surprise.

Yesterday, I got TWO packages. One from Karen who sent me a very fun Starbucks cup and some chocolate kisses and a Starbucks giftcard. Chocolate and coffee. I love it. The other one was from my fantabulous boyfriend. He sent me a package of Starbuck's Anniversary Blend coffee so that I can make it at home. It's really good. He also sent a fun cover for my ipod mini and some yummy fruit-flavored chapsticks. But my favorite thing is the t-shirt that he sprayed with his cologne. I know that sounds so cheesey, but when I opened the box, the smell overwhelmed me and literally made me start crying. I just miss him so much and it was so nice to hug his shirt and pretend he was here. But, no sappyness, I get to see him in FIVE DAYS!!!!

This weekend has been pretty fun. I worked another conference for my work study job on Friday afternoon and Saturday morning. It was a little dull, but I got a lot of free meals out of it. Saturday night, I went out to dinner with some people for one of their birthdays. Do you remember the guy who came to play a concert here that went to Baylor? Well, he was there last night too. We lamented the A&M loss together and he told me his band is playing at Treff's on the Friday night of Homecoming. It might be fun to go see him play. Anyway, this morning I went to an outdoor fair in Colonial Williamsburg. It was such a GORGEOUS fall day and it was nice to be out enjoying it. Afterwards, we ordered a pizza and watched Bridget Jones' Diary. I love that movie and Mr. Darcy!

This week shouldn't be too bad...some reading assignments and lots of packing!!! I'm heading home on Friday afternoon for four days of bliss!!!

Cheers: Pumpking Spice Lattes!
