Last night, I went to go see a free movie after work with my sister and some friends. They had free passes to "The Perfect Man" and invited us to come. The movie was pretty good...it had the required corny scenes but was overall pretty funny and entertaining. So were the people at the theatre. There were definitely some strange characters there. Like the guy that kept shaking his head like he wanted his fleas to fall out. No joke. I also saw my boss there (no, she wasn't one of the strange people) and that was kinda fun. You don't normally picture people you work with outside of work. It's kind of like how in elementary and middle school you can't imagine that your teachers have a real life. (That reminds me of a funny story involving a big 8th grade project called history fair. My bff and I had to call her the night before the competition and her husband answered and told us she was in the shower. We were totally grossed out that our teacher showered. Even though we would have been more grossed out if she never did. Anyway, I digress.)
Yesterday, I also ate sushi for lunch (yum) and got in some puppy play time after work. We have class tonight and I hope the little booger pays attention and doesn't make me look bad! With the way things are going today, I wouldn't be surprised if that's exactly what she did. Did I mention it has been a hectic day? My to-do list went from very very small to ginormous. And it's all due like tomorrow. Fun.
And the machines are out to get me. Don't get me started about my car's AC or the color copier or the blasted microwave.
I hope the machines are being nicer to you on this fine hump day. And I hope they forgive me by tomorrow otherwise my to-do list will never get done.
Cheers: to a free lunch
Jeers: to very burnt popcorn and a smelly hallway
