the one where I decided to go to law school

Welp. I did it. I made a decision. (Put the emphasis on I. Not my parents, not my boyfriend. Me. Even though some people don't believe me.) My mom and I went to Williamsburg, VA to look at William and Mary and see the town and look at apartments. I tried to picture myself living there (it was hard...I mean, they don't even have a Gap!). I couldn't stop thinking: why not? Why not go to law school in Virginia and try it out? It can't be that bad and even if it's awful I can move home at Christmas. And at least I will get to live someplace cool that is close to even cooler places like DC and New York. And maybe I'll end up liking law school. I owe it to myself to at least try.

So we found an apartment I liked and I signed a lease (I cried while signing it, but oh well). The apt. is very cool and has a nice woodsy view and a nice inside. And I am very excited about having my own place to decorate and everything. And there is plenty of space for people to come stay with me!! I'll be your official tour guide of colonial Williamsburg!

Cheers: to a happy reunion with my puppy
Jeers: to the knot of fear and worry in my stomach
