Jury Duty

Wow, I'm officially an adult. I went to jury duty. I was there for about 3 hours and just barely missed getting picked!! They were calling juror numbers and mine was really close to the number of the last guy who got picked. It was like the lottery, only you didn't want them to call your number! I got done around 11 and there was no way I was going back to work!! So I got my oil changed and met Brian and Marcus for lunch. Then I took and nap and went to Starbucks. Brian and I took Latte to see Pete (our little name for our favorite pond in this little park by my house). It was fun to see the little thing running around in the grass, chewing on leaves. And last night, BJ went out with the boys so I had some much needed "alone time." I got things done at home, made myself some mac n cheese, watched some tv.... It was good ( :

Oh on Sunday we watched Episode 4 of Star Wars (I only fell asleep once!) and it was neat to see how the new one fit so perfectly with the old one. We also did a bit of shopping (I got two cute shirts). And I watched the Desperate Housewives finale...it was a little dark, but very good.

Anyway, today, I'm back to the grindstone!! At least I look cute in my new blouse (blouse is such an old sounding word, I'm sorry that you had to read it). And at least it's a 4 day week with pay day, blue jean friday and a long weekend to look forward to!!
